Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ami at askami.xyz. By using it, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the service.

What Ami is

Ami is a personal assistant that answers questions using data from accounts you connect, such as email, calendar, and files. It is an early-stage project provided free of charge.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping it secure. You must be at least 13 years old. You may only connect accounts you own or are authorised to access.

What Ami does with your connected accounts

Access is read-only. Ami does not send, delete, or modify anything in a connected account. You can disconnect any service at any time from the Connections page, and revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• connect accounts you do not own or have permission to use;
• use Ami to break any law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
• attempt to access other users’ data, or probe, scan, or disrupt the service;
• resell or redistribute the service, or automate access at a volume that degrades it for others.

AI-generated content

Replies are generated by a language model and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Do not rely on Ami for decisions with legal, financial, medical, or academic consequences without verifying against the original source. You are responsible for how you use what it tells you.

Third-party services

Ami depends on services it does not control: Google, Microsoft, Apple, Perplexity AI, and others. Their availability, behaviour, and terms are theirs, not ours, and a connection may stop working if a provider changes its API or policies.

Availability

Ami is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including your access, at any time and without notice.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or opportunity arising from your use of Ami.

Termination

You may stop using Ami at any time and request deletion of your data by emailing ameerup@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The “last updated” date above will change, and continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance.
